i just came back from frankfurt where i attended the german designers’ club’s (ddc) 10th annual award show. my boyfriend and his friend & bachelor project partner won the gold medal in the category ‘zukunft’ (future) – yay! apart from their entry (of course) i was particularly impressed with one of the gold winners of ‘foto/film’ who designed various clips titled ‘fashion faces’ for new german online store yalook. these cheeky yet charming fashion heads are created from clothes – see picture below or follow this link.
i’d love to show you my outfit for the night in full but unfortunately i only have this strange shot of myself at the show. i was wearing my new h&m cream thigh length blazer which i decided to keep afterlast week’s shopping outburst. this i teamed with a black silk top by imelda, a pair of satin style black topshop leggings and my favourite brown high heeled ankle boots by h&m which you have probably seen in previous posts.
since my suitcase still hasn’t been fully unpacked i used it as a prop in my shot of today’s outfit. i am wearing two of my purchases from last week -a coral coloured blazer with shoulder pads which my friend absolutely hated and i absolutely loved. i think it’s one of those ‘i-hate-it-so-much-i-love-it’ moments so i had to get it! my other new acquisition are the dark blue suede style pumps. with 58 pairs of shoes in my closet i yet had to find a pair of navy blue heels and i am not going to return them! the 90s style patterned skirt is by topshop as well as the orange v-neck vest top.
nb: i have actually returned about half the things so far and i am still indecisive about a pair of brogues and a purple woolen cardigan.

wow! your hair is getting so long! and you look great! i would say do keep the shoes, I can’t say enough about spectator shoes, I just love them. and the colors of the top outfit! yesssss!
